For various reasons I’ve been involved with a number of house sales in the last few years and really had the classic negative view of estate agents as a “necessary evil” but Tom has been a real breath of fresh air! He brings a truly professional but personal approach throughout the process. From advice on marketing and presentation, finding and negotiating with a buyer, and onto progressing and Completing the sale, Tom was first rate. Many agents say they keep you informed but Tom genuinely does, we never had to think “what’s happening now?” because we always knew.

Having previously worked in conveyancing (property law) I have worked a fair bit with estate agents over the years, and have had two previous house moves. I have always been disappointed by the level of service given, so when we were looking to move again I took a giod look at local recommendations; Tom Dix came very highly rated. Needless to say we were not disappointed this time. Tom is what you would hope all agents would be, knowledgeable, fair, accurate, and professional. All communications were responded to swiftly, the valuation was accurate with excellent advice around expectations, and knowledge of the best way to carry out the process was impeccable. Being local to Medway, Tom also has fantastic local knowledge which is a big advantage. The marketing of our property was also outstanding, with the property pack, info, and photos so far ahead of others I’ve seen, its little wonder Tom gets the results he does. Our property went to market and just over a week later we got the offer on it we were looking for. If you’re selling, do yourself a massive favour, save a lot of frustration, avoid the “big boys”, and contact Tom; I can’t recommend his services highly enough.

We bought our first home through Tom and have to say, from the start of putting our offer in right up until completion, the communication was brilliant. Despite the process taking a long time (through no fault of the agent), Tom kept us in the loop throughout and actively chased all concerned parties always getting the answers and updates for us. Throughout what could have been a stressful process, it was made much easier by great and reliable communication. Tom was outstanding from start to finish in supporting us buy our first home. He kept us up to date constantly and is very on the ball in terms of responding to any questions or queries we had.
