I recently sold my property in Rochester with the help of Tom.
I wanted minimal stress, to feel in control and have frequently updates. Tom ticked all these boxes with ease.
Due to the nature of my work I am not able to take phone calls during the day. I contacted, via email, 2 “traditional” estate agents as well as Tom. I explained what I wanted to do, and that I couldn’t take daytime calls. The following day I received a phone call from one estate agent. They were dropped instantly as clearly either they couldn’t read, or chose to ignore my request.
This left Tom and the other “traditional” agent. The other agent would often not be around and messages would need to be left. Responses usually took around 24hrs. Tom however, came back to me each time within 2 hours.
I was unsure whether to go with Tom, after all he works by himself. As my wife stated, "Tom might be quick at answering emails now, but what if he gets too busy?"
Anyway, I took the chance and I’m delighted to say, I’m glad I did. From the get go Tom was professional. He was always extremely polite and courteous (something you rarely see these days), he was consistent, he was keen to answer all my questions, even those sent after 6pm, and - perhaps most of all - he was personal. Communication was excellent with Tom. Regular updates would arrive in my inbox. He was happy to make suggestions and helped me achieve a sale price on my property which I was very pleased with.
There were some issues with the buyers solicitors (what’s new!?) but Tom handled these professionally and help recover a potentially difficult situation. His approach is both modern (look for his YouTube videos) and conventional. Nothing is too much trouble for this man, and he definitely goes the extra mile to ensure the customer is always put first. Again, a bit of a rarity these days in my experience. All in all, I’m pleased I engaged Tom to sell my property. Yes, he has the smart suit, and the flash car, but that’s where the similarity to a regular estate agent ends. His motto is, “With him it’s personal”. I couldn’t agree more. Thank you, Tom.

Could not recommend Tom more as an agent if you are buying or selling. As people always say get three quotes first when selling something but from the start Tom was professional, knowledgable and friendly and that was before we had even got to any fees. Of the three agents I had value my property Tom was the one who was best prepared and had more information regrading the current market and things I needed to consider before selling. Unlike other agents Tom doesn’t continually bother you after the initial meeting to see what you had decided and allows you to take your time and consider all agents who have valued your property. Once I decided to go with Tom everything has been plain sailing, my property was marketed and sold within a matter of days and all potential purchasers were vetted prior to viewings which means that no one was wasting anyones time. Since the sale has been agreed Tom has been invaluable and it feels like I have not had to do anything (apart from the normal paperwork) as Tom has kept me informed and has also been in contact with solicitors to see how things are progressing which means that this has been the most hassle free sale I have ever had to deal with. I can’t recommend Tom highly enough and it’s is really not like dealing with an estate agent but a friend.
